Project Outcome
Strong Foundations: Aligning Build Change and Its Sub-Brands for Impact
We structured the brand architecture with Build Change as the main brand, and BCTap and Climate Resilient Housing as distinct sub-brands. While each sub-brand has its own unique identity, the visual system ensures alignment with Build Change’s core values. Consistent design elements like typography and color create cohesion, allowing each sub-brand to stand independently yet reinforce the overall mission of resilience and innovation in housing.

Creating a Dynamic Global Visual System
We developed a flexible, dynamic visual system for Build Change that adapts across digital, print, and on-site materials. Using consistent colors, typography, and graphics, the system captures resilience, innovation, and trust, while reinforcing the six-step construction process. This cohesive visual approach enables Build Change to communicate their message clearly and effectively across all platforms.
Powering Resilient Housing: Designing a Brand for Digital Transformation
In my second collaboration with Build Change with worked on creating a new venture: BCTAP. I led the refresh of their visual identity, including a new logo, design system, and brand guidelines. I also created communication materials to help amplify their message and engage key stakeholders. This work strengthened BCTap’s brand presence and supported their mission to build safer, more resilient communities through sustainable construction practices.

New Logo For Building Resilience
We kicked off with workshops to align on Build Change’s mission and values. The final logo reflects the six key steps of their resilient housing approach each facet symbolizing a stage in the process. Designed to convey trust, innovation, and strength, the logo became a cornerstone of a cohesive global brand identity.
Powering Resilient Housing Proven 6-Step Global Construction Process
To effectively communicate BCtap’s six-step process, we focused on creating a clear, intuitive visual flow that makes the journey of resilient housing easy to understand. Each step is represented by simple blocks ensuring quick comprehension and highlighting the interconnectedness of the process. This approach allows stakeholders to easily grasp the stages involved for resilient housing in disaster-prone regions.
