Project Outcome

The new brand and website bring St. David’s Foundation’s equity mission to life with clarity and confidence. It reflects their role as both a funder and a partner rooted in community. The platform now serves as a tool for connection, transparency, and learning. Most importantly, it strengthens their ability to build healthier futures through trust-based philanthropy.

We introduced a storytelling section to amplify community voices and real-world change. A new “Research & Insights” hub showcases evaluations, learnings, and thought leadership. These spaces position the Foundation as a transparent, trusted convener. They turn the site into a platform for sharing knowledge.

St. David’s Foundation: Evolving the Brand for Greater Community Health

St. David’s Foundation is one of the largest health-focused philanthropies in the U.S., serving Central Texas with over $80 million in annual grants. They needed a clearer identity to distinguish themselves from the unrelated clinical system, St. David’s HealthCare. Their existing brand and website didn’t reflect their equity-driven, community-centered mission. Our goal was to create a brand and digital platform that communicated trust, clarity, and impact.

I lead the design team, togehter we designed a new logo symbolizing the five counties served, using a five-point star to reflect regional connection. A vibrant color palette and thoughtful typography balanced approachability with institutional trust. The new visual system works seamlessly across digital and print materials. Together, the elements created a bold, authentic identity grounded in place and people.

We restructured the website to unify scattered microsites and simplify user navigation. Clear content pathways now guide grantees, partners, and community members based on their goals. The new architecture improves usability and reflects the Foundation’s values across every touchpoint. It makes finding funding, learning about impact, and engaging with stories intuitive and accessible.
